The crate

'Sustainability' was an important principle in the development of the crate. And it has been a success. While the choice of dry transport (initially via cardboard, later via other crates) had already enabled a 60% reduction in transport volume, the new crate adds a further 9% to this. This once again saves a lot of transport movements and significantly reduces CO2 emissions. Moreover, the crate is lightweight, virtually silent when stacked, can be reused (unlike cardboard packaging) and is 100% recyclable.
